The pendulum is an ideal complement for the Control'X system.

It allows students to conduct motivating experiments on an anti-wobble (anti-sway) solution of a construction crane or an inverted pendulum.

 

It consists of a very precise angular position sensor (incremental encoder of 2048 points per revolution), a graduated machined aluminum shaft and a mass.

The mass can be moved on the graduated axis in order to modify the proper pulsation of the pendulum.

 

The design of the control and motion of the anti-balloon or inverted pendulum systems can be simulated and implemented directly with Matlab from MathWorks or Labview from National Instrument.

 

The unit is delivered assembled, wired and ready to be positioned on the Control'X system's mobile cart.

 

The software associated with this supplement allows you to tackle projects on: fuzzy controllers, collaborative robots, distance control, traction machines, snowshoe stringing machines, ... and many others!
