Control'X

The Control'X system is a didactic linear axis resulting from a true industrial multi-axis "Pick and Place" system. It allows the positioning of parts with a high level of performance. The hardware part of the Control’X system consists of :

- An energy chain consisting of a power supply, a variable speed drive, a highly dynamic DC motor coupled to the axis carriage via a reduction gear and a pulley-belt system.

- An information chain made up of an acquisition card, an incremental encoder and a tachometric generator mounted in the axis of the motor, a magnetostrictive position encoder mounted on the carriage of the axis, an external force sensor, an optical distance sensor, a drive input voltage sensor, motor current and voltage sensors.

The richness of the instrumentation makes it possible to characterize all the behaviors in a way that is rarely observed. The key points of the program such as geometric, kinematic, static or dynamic input/output relations are plotted in a few clicks. The energy aspect is approached with a complete analysis of the motor behavior and the efficiency of the mechanism. A large place is given to slaving and discrete event systems are not left out with a possible implementation of state diagrams.

Associated with the Control’Drive software, Control’X makes it possible to analyze, experiment, model, solve and design a system that meets the expected requirements.
