FAST PROCESS

The Fast Process system is the last quality control station resulting from an industrial process of bank card production. It integrates an industrial linear axis allowing the sorting of parts by dimensional camera.

It allows a sorting at a fast rate thanks to its communication architecture integrating numerous network technologies. A pneumatic device picks up a part which is presented in front of a camera. An algorithm identifies the characteristics of the part which is then sorted into bins.

This didactic system is composed of

• An energy chain composed of a power supply, a variable speed drive, a brushless motor coupled to the axis carriage via a reducer and a pulley-belt system. The carriage allows to move the parts with a pneumatic gripper.
• An information chain composed of a dimensional camera, a PLC M340 communicating in CANOPEN and Ethernet, a graphic touch screen MAGELIS and position and safety sensors.
